This week’s Patreon model set is instax mini I shot with Sierra McKenzie in 2014. It was shortly after I got my Fuji Mini 90 Neo Classic and I wanted to test out the double exposure features with a familiar face!
Uncensored twice-monthly 18+ sets like these are available at the $5 level on my Patreon, $1 gets you twice-monthly PG sets. We’ve got weekday instax, model videos, and all my tutorials on photography/ animation/ video editing at higher tiers. Become a patron for daily rewards!
I’m on my way to Costa Rica with my family and to help out with the trip, I’m running a massive instax mini sale through Halloween! Happy Halloween! My photo series “Scream Queens” continues its mutation into the multimedia world with this new video, which animates photos alongside recent spooky video work and new cartoon animations I made for this set.
I also have a couple sets left of the Viewmasters I created last year of the series- featuring models like Glass Olive, Anastasia Arteyeva, and Mosh. They are available at my Etsy and are fun for the whole (adult) family!
I made this video with the 5 amazing models I photographed in Brooklyn in May of this year- Cacia Zoo, Glass Olive, Sierra Mckenzie, Kacie Marie and Victoria Elle. It’s a combination of behind-the-scenes footage and intentionally artsy stuff, shot on both my Fuji X-T1 and GoPro Hero 4 Black and scored with my ambient guitar noodling.
If you enjoy any of this work I encourage you to like it and share it! For more photoworks goodness peruse my Etsy shop, follow on tumblr and twitter and instagram, and rummage around on my full site.
These are more Fuji Instax Minis, aka “Fujiroids”, from my recent shoots in Brooklyn. We have models Glass Olive and Sierra Mckenzie, who I’ve worked with dozens of times…
and Kacie Marie, who was someone new for me to work with, but really game to make interesting work. Part of the fun is seeing how different each double exposure becomes by virtue of expression, lighting, positioning or gesture. Each image shot with the Fuji Neo Classic camera. Hair on Glass Olive and Kacie Marie was by Andy Tseng. If you enjoy any of this work I encourage you to like it and share it! The newest skill I’ve picked up is the alcohol inkjet transfer technique, which uses Staples decals and rubbing alcohol and not much else. It seemed like a really effective technique for presenting nude imagery since it has a painterly feel on watercolor, basically dissolving the ink off the decal.
These images are currently up for sale as small 5×7 originals on my Etsy site.
With February coming and lots of different kinds of art being produced around the house, I had to take a hard look at my Etsy shop and whittle down my current inventory of photographic art and sculpture.
With that in mind, I’ve got a clearance sale running on my Etsy shop – many sculptural masks and large photographic prints, sized 11×17″ and 20×30″ (just shy of 2ft x 3ft). Have a rummage!
