I’m on my way to Costa Rica with my family and to help out with the trip, I’m running a massive instax mini sale through Halloween! It’s 50% off my normal price – each instax is $7.50, 8 for $50, 20 for $100- featuring indie model greats like Thumbelina, Mosh, Anastasia Arteyeva, Devi, Corrie Shannon, Kelly Eden, Glass Olive, Sierra McKenzie, Cacia Zoo, and many many more. Message any interest at firstname.lastname@example.org!
Welcome to a new series where I show you some specific shoots I did with models and Fuji Instax film! These images were shot with the Fuji Instax Mini Neo Classic 90 in 2015 with model/ actress/ Penthouse Pet Glass Olive aka Olive Glass. We shot in Utah by the Great Salt Lake, a very barren area ideal for the minimalist photography I like with my Instax.
Show some love to our studio Primordial Creative on Patreon and check out further photography/ art tutorials at my Skillshare channel!
Happy Halloween! My photo series “Scream Queens” continues its mutation into the multimedia world with this new video, which animates photos alongside recent spooky video work and new cartoon animations I made for this set.
I also have a couple sets left of the Viewmasters I created last year of the series- featuring models like Glass Olive, Anastasia Arteyeva, and Mosh. They are available at my Etsy and are fun for the whole (adult) family!
Filmed with my old buddy Glass Olive in her home state of Utah in July. Everything is done on my GoPro Hero Black 4. The soundtrack is different from recent video art pieces- not a straight composition as I normally make, but a warped soundscape collage kind of thing. The next few video art pieces I have in the pipeline have a similar aesthetic, warped soundscape collages and music videos for artists other than myself.
If you enjoy any of this work I encourage you to like it and share it! For more photoworks goodness peruse my Etsy shop, follow on tumblr and twitter and instagram, and rummage around on my full site.
There are a few models that I have had on my wishlist for literally years, and one of those is NYC singer/ actress/ model Kacie Marie. We had been sending emails back and forth for perhaps 3 years before we actually connected for a May 2015 shoot. We have the mutual common ground of love of b-movie vibes, and she has always exuded a particular vibe that references sexiness with innocence- what people sometimes call the “retro Playboy vibe.” You know, before it got trashy and silicone. If you enjoy any of this work I encourage you to like it and share it! With February coming and lots of different kinds of art being produced around the house, I had to take a hard look at my Etsy shop and whittle down my current inventory of photographic art and sculpture.
I got a decent start on tutorials earlier this year, and then it was a bunch of silence as I made music videos and video art. With classes being on break during the holidays I’ve been able to catch up with a lot of new tutorials- and I’m open to any tutorial requests! If there is anything you’d like me to do a photography “how to” video on, respond in the comments below or email me at email@example.com.
