Hawai’i Photoblog #4

Children of photographers are frequently hams, as they perceive that’s what pleases their parents.  I shot a ton of images of my kids during our Hawai’i trip and they are among my favorite images of the trip.  Kona day 2 (358 of 528)

Magdalena has long been my favorite model and she knows it enough to actually ask for money for posing.  These images of Maggie were taken around the city of Hilo on the west side of Kona, Big Island Hawai’i.

Maggie is usually pretty natural in her posing, but my son imagines he needs to do “hero poses” like all the boys’ cartoon characters he sees.  Thus it’s a lot of flexing and bent knees in all of his photos.Kona day 5 (270 of 338)If you enjoy any of this work I encourage you to like it and share it!  For more photoworks goodness peruse my Etsy shop, follow on tumblr and twitter and instagram, and rummage around on my full site.
